Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 August 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the HamzaTech Business platform, website and related services. By creating an account, accessing the application, or using any part of the service, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company, and “you” refers to that company.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least sixteen years old and capable of forming a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of the registration information you provide, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication for every account with administrative privileges.

Accounts are for named individuals. Sharing a single login between multiple people is not permitted, both for billing accuracy and because it defeats the audit trail.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to store or transmit unlawful, infringing, defamatory or malicious content; to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, account or data; to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of our infrastructure without written permission; to interfere with or place unreasonable load on the service; to resell or white-label the service without an agreement; or to build a competing product using our platform as the basis.

Automated access is permitted through documented interfaces at reasonable rates. Scraping the application interface is not.

4. Your data and ownership

You retain all rights to the content and business records you upload or create. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, transmit and display that content solely as necessary to operate and support the service. We do not use your content for advertising and we do not sell it.

You are responsible for having the right to the data you upload, and for ensuring your use of the service complies with the privacy and employment laws applicable to your business — particularly for HR records, which are sensitive in most jurisdictions.

5. Subscriptions, billing and refunds

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis at the rate shown at the time of purchase. Unless you cancel before the renewal date, subscriptions renew automatically for the same term. Fees are exclusive of taxes, which are added where required.

You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law, or where we terminate your account other than for breach.

We may change pricing with at least thirty days' notice before the change applies to your next renewal.

6. Free plan and beta features

Free plans may carry usage limits and may be modified or discontinued with reasonable notice. Features labelled beta or preview are provided as-is, may change or be withdrawn, and are excluded from any service level commitment.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service on plans without a written service level agreement. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practicable. We may suspend access without notice where necessary to protect the integrity or security of the platform, and will restore it as soon as reasonably possible.

8. Third-party services

The service integrates with third-party providers such as authentication, email delivery and payment processors. Your use of those integrations may be subject to the third party's own terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy or conduct of third-party services.

9. Intellectual property

The software, design, documentation and trademarks that make up the service remain our property or that of our licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the product without obligation or compensation, and does not affect your rights in your own data.

10. Disclaimers

The service provides tools for managing business information. It does not constitute legal, tax, accounting or financial advice, and outputs generated by automated or AI-assisted features are drafts that require human review before they are relied upon. Except as expressly stated, the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, if required by law, or if your use creates risk for other customers, giving notice and an opportunity to remedy where the breach is capable of remedy. On termination you may export your data for thirty days, after which it is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be notified by email or in the application at least thirty days before taking effect. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the revised terms.

14. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Questions about these terms can be sent through our contact page.
